Description:
2-Aminoanthracene is an enzyme inducer that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cells in a plate test. It has been shown to have antioxidative properties, which are due to its ability to scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS). 2-Aminoanthracene has also been shown to cause genotoxic effects and mutagenicity in mammalian cells. This compound can be used as a water vapor or activated carbon adsorbent for sample preparation.
