Scopolamine hydrobromide is a drug that belongs to the class of antimuscarinic drugs. It is used as an anti-cholinergic agent and has been shown to be effective in reducing the symptoms of bowel disease, such as inflammatory bowel disease and ulcerative colitis. Scopolamine hydrobromide has also been shown to have some carcinogenic effects in mice, but these effects are not clinically relevant. The pentobarbital sodium (pentobarbital) is a barbiturate that can be used for the treatment of convulsions or insomnia. Studies have shown that estradiol benzoate, a synthetic form of estrogen, may inhibit the growth of cancer cells by binding to estrogen receptors on the cell surface. Estrogen levels are physiologically low in females, which may explain why women are at a higher risk for breast cancer than men.
