Alisol A 24-acetate
Controlled Product
Description:

Alisol A 24-acetate is an ATP-binding cassette transporter inhibitor that is used to treat metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. Alisol A 24-acetate also has autophagy-promoting activity and can improve the intracellular calcium concentration, which may be due to its ability to regulate fatty acid metabolism. This drug has significant cytotoxicity in liver cells and natural compounds such as Alisol A 24-acetate have been shown to have a hepatoprotective effect. Alisol A 24-acetate has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro, which may be due to its effects on cellular physiology. The LC-MS/MS method provides a more sensitive way of analyzing small molecules than other methods.
