Arenobufagin is a natural compound that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and induce apoptosis in vitro. Arenobufagin also has anti-inflammatory effects and can be used as an antimicrobial agent, particularly against infectious diseases. Arenobufagin inhibits the formation of liver cancer cells by interfering with lipid metabolism. It binds to the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) enzyme, preventing DNA replication and leading to cell death. Arenobufagin also inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential, which leads to the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential and subsequent cell death. Structural analysis shows that aren’tnobufagin binds specifically to caspases, which are enzymes responsible for initiating apoptosis in cells.
