• Description: b-Acetoxyisovalerylalkannin is a natural product that has been isolated from the plant Acacia catechu. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. This inhibition prevents acetylcholine from being broken down and may lead to improved memory and cognition.
