Product Information
- Benzenemethanol, a-(aminomethyl)-4-fluoro-
2-Amino-1-(4-fluorophenyl)ethanol (FEN) is an organic compound that contains a benzene ring. It is the cyclic form of adenosine with a phosphite ester group at the 2' position on the ribose sugar moiety. FEN has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of nerve and muscle phosphodiesterase activity, which leads to an accumulation of cAMP in cells. It also has substitutable properties for ligand binding sites and can be used as a pesticide or herbicide. Chlordimeform has been shown to bind well to FEN, so it can be used as a catalyst for hydrolysis reactions. In addition, FEN has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in whole-body studies using mice and rats.
