Description:
ESI-05 is a non-competitive inhibitor that binds to the extracellular calcium channels on mammalian cells. It has shown potential for use in the treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer by inhibiting cell proliferation. The drug has been shown to have a sensitivity index of approximately 100,000, which means it can be used in low concentrations to inhibit the effects of other drugs. ESI-05 has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on cardiac hypertrophy and ventricular myocytes, as well as brain functions in mice.
