Product Information
- Poly(ethylene glycol) bis(3-aminopropyl) terminateda-(3-Aminopropyl)-omega-(3-aminopropoxy)-poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl)PEG bis(3-amin opropyl)
O,O'-Bis(3-aminopropyl)polyethylene glycol is a fluorescent probe that can be used to monitor the uptake of gold nanoparticles. It is also used as a contrast agent in optical microscopy and fluorescence imaging. O,O'-Bis(3-aminopropyl)polyethylene glycol has been shown to accumulate in hepatoma cells and can be used to monitor the response of cancer cells to irradiation. This molecule has been extensively studied for its ability to bind with magnetic nanoparticles and has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria. O,O'-Bis(3-aminopropyl)polyethylene glycol is a synthetic polymer that consists of a linear chain of repeating aminopropyl units connected by ether linkages. The length and branching pattern of this molecule determines its physical properties, such as solubility and fluorescent emission wavelength. This molecule has a molecular weight of approximately 690 dalt
