Description:Boc-Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg-AMC acetate salt is a homologous peptide derived from soybean trypsin inhibitor. It has a molecular weight of 7,000 daltons and inhibits the activity of serine proteases, including kallikrein, plasmin, and thrombin. This peptide has been shown to be an inhibitor of heparin coagulation factor Xa and tissue factor in vitro. Boc-Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg-AMC acetate salt also has anticoagulant properties in vivo which are due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of prothrombin.
