Description:
Boc-Gly-Gly-Leu-pNA is an analog of the protease inhibitor serine protease. It has a reactive site that is similar to the reactive site on serine proteases. This enables Boc-Gly-Gly-Leu-pNA to bind to them and inhibit their activity. The compound also inhibits neutrophil activation, as shown by a decrease in its expression of CD11b and CD11c, which are markers of neutrophils.
