3-Bromothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-4-amine is a potent tyrosine kinase inhibitor that binds to the ATP binding site of the enzyme. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the activity of tyrosine kinases and is being studied for use in cancer treatments. 3-Bromothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-4-amine inhibits the human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and platelet derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR). 3-Bromothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-4-amine also has potent inhibitory activity against other kinases including JAK1, JAK2, and Src.
