5-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrazole-3-carboxylicacid is a small molecule that modulates the activity of voltage-gated cation channels. It has been shown to inhibit the channel and antagonize it. This compound has also been shown to be a competitive inhibitor of the AMPA receptor in rat brain synaptosomes.
