2,4-Bis(octylthio)-6-(4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylanilino)-1,3,5-triazine is a triazine that has been synthesized by the reaction of glycol esters with hydrogenated hydrochloric acid. This compound is used as a polymerization initiator and is a liquid crystal composition stabiliser.
