3-Bromopentane is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of 123.7 degrees Celsius. It has an odor that is similar to that of petroleum ether and it has a viscosity of 1.07 cP at 20 degrees Celsius. 3-Bromopentane is an isomeric compound with two possible structures. It can be either a diatomic molecule or a covid-19 pandemic, depending on the position of the hydrogen atoms. 3-Bromopentane is soluble in ethanolamine and phosphite solvents, but not water or chloride solvents.
