Product Information
Name:4-(Boc-aminomethyl)phenyl isothiocyanate
Brand:Biosynth
Description:4-(Boc-aminomethyl)phenyl isothiocyanate (4BAPITC) is a chemoenzymatic synthesis that can be used to label polypeptides. It reacts with the n-terminal amino group of polypeptides and is readily displaced by chloride ions in the presence of a nucleophile such as phenyl isothiocyanate. The resulting product can be purified by chromatographic methods, such as semaglutide. 4BAPITC has been utilized in order to label proteins in order to study their structure and function. This compound has also been utilized for fluorescent labeling, which can be visualized with confocal laser microscopy.
