4-Bromo-3-phenyl-1(2)H-pyrazole is a monomer that was synthesized by reacting 4-bromo-phenylamine and phenylacetone in the presence of an acid. It has been characterized by X-ray crystallography and its solvents, tautomers, experimental constants, proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, ligands and liquids extractant functions have been determined. Crystals melt at 160°C. The structure has been solved using X-ray crystallography and the molecular weight is found to be 212.4 g/mol.
