Product Information
Bis-tris hydrochloride is a synthetic amino acid. It is used as an antigen in immunoassays, to identify the presence of protein or peptide antigens in a sample. Bis-tris hydrochloride is also used as an enzyme substrate in the synthesis of polyacrylamides and other biomolecules. The activity of this synthase gene product has been shown using a gel permeation chromatography assay. This enzyme has been expressed in E. coli cells and purified using affinity chromatography with monoclonal antibodies against histone H3 and tannins.
