Name:N-Boc-D-cyclohexylglycine
Synonyms:
- (a-R)-a-[[(1,1-Dimethylethoxy)carbonyl]amino]cyclohexaneacetic acid(2R)-2-[(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)amino]-2-(cyclohexyl)ethanoic acid (R)-2-(tert-Butoxycarbonylamino)-2-(cyclohexyl)acetic acid
Brand:Biosynth
Description:N-Boc-D-cyclohexylglycine is an analog of a macrocyclic compound that has been shown to inhibit the coagulation and cyclodehydration reactions. The addition of sodium hypochlorite to N-Boc-D-cyclohexylglycine results in the formation of a conformational change, which inactivates the compound. This analog is being studied as a potential anti-viral agent for HIV, Hepatitis B virus, and Hepatitis C virus. N-Boc-D-cyclohexylglycine has been shown to be a probe for studying the mechanism of action of macrocyclic compounds. It has also been found to have potential inhibitory activity against macrolactamization enzymes such as penicillin acylase and cephalosporin acylase.
