6-Bromoimidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine is a heterocycle with a molecular weight of 158.11 and a chemical formula of C6H4BrN3. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in animal studies. 6-Bromoimidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine is an electron donor and can form a resonance with nuclei, which can regulate the binding affinity for hematological proteins. The magnetic properties of 6-bromoimidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine have also been studied by spectroscopy experiments that show it to be diamagnetic.
