Description

The compound benzyl 4-chlorophenyl ketone is an analog of the natural product beta-phenethylamine. It has been shown to be a potent enolizing agent in organic synthesis and can also be used as a cross-coupling agent, as well as an intermediate in the synthesis of azides, grignard reagents, halides, and magnesium biomolecules.
