Bis(2,4,5-trichlorophenyl-6-carbopentoxyphenyl) oxalate also has application as a chemiluminescent probe in the detection of pueraria lobata (a plant extract). This compound can be used as an antibody solution to detect low energy radiation or fluorescence resonance.
