Description

Bacitracin zinc is a biocide that is used for the treatment of infectious diseases in animals. It has neurotrophic and polyvinyl pyrrolidone properties, which inhibit bacterial growth by preventing protein synthesis. Bacitracin zinc can be used to treat infections caused by bacteria that are resistant to penicillin, tetracycline, erythromycin, and other antibiotics. This drug can be formulated as a suspension or an emulsion in a polymeric matrix with undamaged polymer chains to provide stabilization against hydrolysis.
