Description:
5-Bromo-2-chloro-3-methoxypyridine is a kinase inhibitor that belongs to the class of compounds called analogues. This compound has been shown to be an efficient, selective and potent inhibitor of the csf1R protein kinase. 5-Bromo-2-chloro-3-methoxypyridine has also been shown to inhibit the activity of other kinases such as cdc2, cdk4, cdk6 and cdk7. The structure of this compound was used as a starting point in the development of a new class of kinase inhibitors.
