Description:Boc-L-serine is a cyclic peptide that contains a hydroxyl group and a trifluoroacetate group. It has been shown to have anticancer activity in experimental models, but the mechanism of action is not fully understood. Boc-L-serine inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to P2Y receptors and blocking the downstream signaling cascade. This drug also has been shown to be stereospecific with respect to its biological activity, which may be due to hydrogenation of nitrogen atoms on the molecule.
