Product Information
- Benzoic Acid 4-Biphenyl Ester
4-Biphenyl Benzoate is a magnetic compound that can be used to study the chemical structures of compounds. It has been shown to be a good substrate for paraformaldehyde and also has ferroelectric properties. This compound can react with chloride ion and form biphenyl chloroformate, which is resistant to oxidation by ketones. 4-Biphenyl Benzoate's resonance spectroscopy was studied in detail using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and it was found that this compound has two different types of resonance peaks: one at 7.5 ppm and another at 3.2 ppm. The first type is attributed to the methyl group, while the second type is attributed to the chloride ion.
