Butyl 4-Carboxyphenyl Carbonate is a binder that is used in the production of particle boards. It is a liquid that is applied to the wood chips to help bind them together. Butyl 4-Carboxyphenyl Carbonate has a high stability, which means it will not react with other substances, such as water, and can be stored for long periods of time without losing its effectiveness. This product also has an excellent binding capacity and can be used for pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass before use in the production of paper or particle board.
