Product Information
- Thieno[2,3-f][1]benzothiophene
Benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene is a molecule that is synthesized by a cross-coupling reaction between 2,5-dibromothiophene and 1,3-diaminopropane. It has been shown to have high transport properties in organic solvents and can be used in molecular devices. Benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene has been studied using voltammetry and fluorescence spectroscopy. It has also been shown to have an efficiency of up to two electrons per photon as an acceptor material for polymer films. The optical properties of benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene are also constant with wavelength when it is excited at the absorption maximum.
