Description:4,4'-Bis(diethylamino)benzophenone (DEABP) is a chemical compound that has been recycled from the desiccated wastewater of a phosphotungstic acid plant. It is an anti-hypertensive agent and has been shown to have a high detection sensitivity in polymerization initiator studies. The mechanism of the reaction is thought to be initiated by free radicals generated by light. The matrix effect of DEABP has been studied and found to be insignificant in coatings and photochemical properties.
