Description:

Benzyl nicotinate is an analytical method used to measure the amount of nicotinate in a sample. The chemical stability of benzyl nicotinate allows it to be used for preparation of samples that require high temperatures, such as liver microsomes. The kinetic data obtained from this method can be used to determine the antimicrobial activity of benzyl nicotinate. This compound is also used for blood sampling with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
