Description:Bis(4-fluorophenyl)phosphinous chloride is an analytical reagent that has been used to determine the concentration of sulfide in petrochemical processes. It is also used as a chemical structure in the synthesis of other compounds. This compound has been shown to be a good sensor for lead ions, with a transition temperature at approximately 170°C and yields at approximately 150°C. The sensor was developed using impedimetric and chemosensors technology. The sensor is based on the principle of electron transfer between a gold electrode modified with bis(4-fluorophenyl)phosphinous chloride and a lead ion solution.
