Benzo[F]isoquinolin-4(3H)-one is a molecule that has been shown to be an anticancer agent. This compound inhibits the growth of cancer cells by forming a hydrogen bond with the DNA and inhibiting its replication. Benzo[F]isoquinolin-4(3H)-one also induces apoptosis in cancer cells by binding to their hydrophobic regions, which prevents them from proliferating. Benzo[F]isoquinolin-4(3H)-one has been shown to inhibit the activity of imidazole compounds, which are used as anticancer drugs in chemotherapy. This drug has not yet been tested for safety in humans and is currently undergoing optimization.
