5-Chloropyrazine-2-carboxylic acid is a phenoxy heterocyclic amine that has been shown to have antibacterial and antimycobacterial activities. It inhibits the growth of Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, with MIC values of 8 and 16 μg/mL respectively.
