Product Information

Name:
2-chloro-4-fluoropyridine-3-carboxylic Acid
Synonyms:
  • 3-Pyridinecarboxylic Acid, 2-Chloro-4-Fluoro-
  • 2-Chloro-4-fluoronicotinic acid
Description:

2-Chloro-4-fluoropyridine-3-carboxylic acid (2CFPCA) is a potent, selective and irreversible ATP competitive kinase inhibitor. It inhibits the activity of ATP binding site on the enzyme and prevents the formation of ATP/ADP complex, resulting in inhibition of protein phosphorylation. The 2CFPCA is a cleavage agent that can be used to release proteins from the kinase reaction. This product has been optimized for efficient synthesis with ethers as solvents and hydrogenation as a key step. The hydrogenation of 2CFPCA is fast and efficient in reducing the number of steps required to synthesize this product.
