Cephaeline dihydrochloride is a drug that belongs to the group of pharmaceutical preparations. It is a natural compound that has been shown to have anticancer activity in prostate cancer cells. Cephaeline dihydrochloride also has acidic properties, which may be due to its hydrolysis by hydrochloric acid. This drug binds to protein target ephedrine hydrochloride, leading to an increase in the synthesis of proteins and DNA, and can be used for the treatment of cancer. Cephaeline dihydrochloride has been shown to inhibit growth of fibrosarcoma cells in culture and can be used as an adjuvant therapy for cancer patients with HIV infection.
