Description:Chlorantraniliprole is a chlorinated aromatic compound that inhibits the insect hormone ryanodine receptor, which is responsible for regulating muscle contraction. Chlorantraniliprole has been shown to have synergic effects when combined with other pesticides, such as fipronil, tetrachlorvinphos and pyrimiphos-methyl. It blocks the activity of enzymes in the cytochrome P450 system and inhibits protein synthesis. Chlorantraniliprole also has an effect on locomotor activity in rats.
