It has low affinity at the CB1 and CB2 receptors (Ki = 13,116 nM and 15,719 nM, respectively)1. In in vitro signaling assays on transfected human kidney cells, cannabigerolic acid performed better than 9-THC in reducing cytosolic cAMP levels previously stimulated by forskolin treatment1,2. No in vivo studies have been conducted on cannabigerolic acid at the present time.
