Coumarin 6H is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. The enhancement of the luminescence intensity of coumarin derivatives by hydrogen bonds is well documented. In addition, it has been reported that the fluorescence emission of coumarin derivatives can be enhanced by hydrogen bonding interactions. Coumarin 6H is an inhibitor of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) enzymes.
