Description:Cromoglicate lisetil is a reconstituted syncytial virus that has been used in clinical trials for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. It has been shown to be effective in reducing chronic cough and relieving symptoms of lung diseases, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. Cromoglicate lisetil is an inhibitor of macrolides that prevents the production of inflammatory cytokines. Cromoglicate lisetil also inhibits toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling by preventing the activation of TLR2 and TLR4. This drug is being tested for its efficacy against rheumatoid arthritis patients.
