Product Information

Name:
1-(3-Chloropropyl)imidazole
Description:

1-(3-Chloropropyl)imidazole (1CIP) is a synthetic monomer that is polymerized to form polymers. 1CIP has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of leukemic cells, u87mg cells, and mutant cells. It also has high thermal stability and can be used in the synthesis of polymers with high ionic conductivity. 1CIP also inhibits ion channels, which are proteins that conduct ions across a cell membrane, leading to an increase in membrane permeability. 1CIP is able to inhibit cellular processes such as protein synthesis and myeloid growth.
