Description:
Gdc-0152 is a small molecule drug that inhibits the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) by binding to the enzyme DNA polymerase. Gdc-0152 targets human cells, inhibiting growth in tumor cell lines and in patients with bone cancer. It has been shown to suppress autophagy, which may have therapeutic benefits for cancer treatment. Gdc-0152 has also been shown to inhibit survivin, a protein that can stimulate tumor growth and metastasis. Gdc-0152 is currently being developed as an anticancer drug for use in humans.
