Cadusafos is a pesticide with a reactive nitrogen atom. It is used to control nematodes, insects, and mites. Cadusafos can be found in solanum tuberosum (potatoes), which may lead to residues in the human body. This pesticide has been shown to interact with cortisol concentration and fatty acids, which may affect its antimicrobial activity. Cadusafos has been shown to have interactive effects on bacteria that are resistant to other pesticides such as carbofuran. Cadusafos is also an optical sensor for pyrimidine compounds and its reaction with these compounds can be measured by an optical sensor.
