Description:
Selective and irreversible inhibitor of βâglucosidases that has been widely used to study mammalian lysosomal glucocerebrosidase (GCase). The compound can chemically induce neurological forms of Gaucher disease in mice. It was also shown to sensitize breast cancer cells to chemotherapy.
