• Description: Cyclosporin A is a cyclic non-hydrolyzable glycol ester that inhibits the production of cytokines and inflammatory mediators by binding to specific intracellular receptors. Cyclosporin A acetate is an inactive prodrug that is converted to active cyclosporine in the liver.
