Description:
4-Chloro-6-methoxypyrimidine is a dihedral molecule with a hydrochloric acid group. It is an activated form of the drug that has been shown to be effective against cancer cells in vitro. 4-Chloro-6-methoxypyrimidine can act as a prodrug, converting to its active form by reaction with hydrochloric acid in the stomach and intestines.
