Product Information
Cyclobutanecarboxamide is a c1-4 alkyl substituted with a phenyl group and has been shown to bind to the MT2 receptor in fibroblast cells. It has been shown that cyclobutanecarboxamide can inhibit the release of histamine from human recombinant cells, suggesting that it may have anti-inflammatory activities. Cyclobutanecarboxamide may also be useful for treating Alzheimer's disease and anticancer activity due to its ability to inhibit the expression of proteins that are involved in cancer cell growth. Cyclobutanecarboxamide has also been found to have activity against psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder by binding to the 5HT2A receptor. This drug is also an x-ray crystal structure, which helps scientists understand its molecular structure and how it binds with other molecules.
