Description

Casein is a protein that is found in milk and cheese. It has been shown to have synergistic effects with other proteins, such as whey protein. Casein is also a major component of the human animal body, making up approximately 80% of the total protein content. Casein contains a high percentage (approximately 20%) of sulfur-containing amino acids, which make it an important source of sulfur-containing amino acids in the diet. In addition, casein can be used to form collagen gels; its chemical stability allows it to be stored for long periods without denaturation or precipitation. Finally, casein contains mda-mb-231 breast cancer cells and has been used as a model system for studying how these cells proliferate and develop into tumors.
