Cephalexin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that has been used for the treatment of a wide variety of bacterial infections, including skin infections, bowel diseases, and urinary tract infections. Cephalexin is active against most strains of bacteria. It binds to the terminal half-life by reacting with sodium salts and dehydroascorbic acid to form a copper complex. The polymeric matrix increases the effectiveness of cephalexin as an antibiotic. Cephalexin can be taken orally or intravenously and is not absorbed through the skin. It is also available in liquid or tablet form.
Cephalexin is one of the most commonly prescribed antibiotics for children and adults in Canada. It has been shown to be effective against a wide range of bacteria, including skin infections, bowel diseases, and urinary tract infections. Cephalexin binds to bacterial ribosomes by reacting with sodium salts and dehydroascorbic acid to form a copper
