Description

(+)-Corypalmine is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the class of amp-activated protein. It has been shown to have a matrix effect in clinical studies and can be used for the preparation of samples prior to analysis. This compound inhibits the oxidative phosphorylation by binding to protopine, a key component of this process. In addition, (+)-corypalmine has been shown to inhibit inflammatory bowel disease and hepatic steatosis due its ability to bind to STEPHANIA and significantly interact with bowel disease.
