Description:2-Carboxythiazole is a heterocyclic compound that contains a thiazole ring fused with a carboxylic acid. It has been shown to have potent antagonist effects at the histamine H4 receptor, which may be due to its hydrogen bond interactions with the receptor. 2-Carboxythiazole has also been shown to be an effective treatment for autoimmune diseases, such as psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.
