Description:
Chicanin is a carbamic acid derivative that inhibits the activity of human prostate cancer cells. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of prostate cancer cells and reduce the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Chicanin has also been shown to have significant anti-inflammatory activity in various tissues and organs, including human lung and prostate tissue. The inhibition constant for chicanin was determined to be 0.058 μM.
